Healthy Eating Week 2022 is about making changes to help us eat well as well as helping the planet! We talked about the limited land water and energy we have and how we can lessen the use of these three things. We looked at the Eatwell plate and tried to get the proportions right for our meal! Today we made easy pizza bases using Greek yoghurt and flour and tried to add as many vegetables as possible as well as swapping a usual choice of protein for beans instead (we definitely managed to get some beans onto some pizzas!) Well done Year 6! Don’t forget the other challenges for this week to drink plenty, get 5 fruit and vegetables a day and try to get as much fibre into your diet as possible!
