We linked Art to our topic on the Stone Age to investigate what they may have used to paint with. In our story the Stone Age boy we could see some equipment in the drawings. We looked around for natural materials we could use for equipment and paint. The children did have the advantage of an elastic band and used this to attach different gathered materials to make paint brushes. They then decided water and mud would make a good paint, adding colour with gathered brambles found along the edge of the school grounds. Well done for your creativity Year 3!
